This campaign is over.
Do I need to pay any money to register for the Hackathon? No. You do not have to pay anything to anyone to register yourself for any Hackathon on HackerEarth.
Do I need to have any specific qualifications to be a participant for the Hackathon? If you love to code, you are more than welcome to participate in the Hackathon.
How do I submit what I have made for the Hackathon? You have to develop the application on your local system and submit it on HackerEarth in tar/zip file format along with instructions to run the application and source code.
Do we need to have the entire idea fully working? The entire idea need not be fully implemented however, the submission should be functional so that it can be reviewed by the judges.
5.How does it work? You will work in teams of 3-5 person to make anything that fits according to the problem statement you have chosen. A prompt will be released around two weeks before the event to guide all projects. We will provide everything you need in order to hack/make, from prototyping resources to food. On the last day every team will pitch at the finale of the Make-A-Thon to present their projects.
6.Who can participate? All undergraduate and graduate students irrespective of branch and year, who are registered under affiliated institutes across India. Please note, however, that travel reimbursements will not be provided.
7.What should I bring? We recommend that you bring a laptop (and yourself!) to hack. We will provide everything else that is necessary for the Make-A-Thon so do not worry about bringing anything else. However, if you have a certain set of tools that you like to use, please feel free to bring them as well. Kindly note that printed boards/circuits, readymade kits/devices are not allowed.
